Hair Extension Maintenance
What to expect
Your maintenance appointments are extremely important to prioritize in order to maintain optimal health of your hair and scalp. At each appointment you can expect me to completely remove your extension row(s), assess and take care of any hair coloring needs for both your natural hair and extension hair, trim your natural hair and do any treatments necessary, and reinstall your extensions fresh.
Removing your extensions at each maintenance appointment allows me to make sure that your extensions are always properly supported and make any adjustments to the placement of the extensions or hair color if needed.
Your extension maintenance is generally every 6-8 weeks. Cost of maintenance is $140 per row, plus $100 hourly session rate for your hair color, and cost of color used. Once I get to know your hair and your preferences with your hair color, I do my best to map out what to expect at each visit. This is something that I also address during your initial consultation.
I don’t generally do maintenance on extension hair that another artist has installed, as there are a lot of factors that play into the final outcome and every extension artist does things a bit differently. However, I am always willing to consult and take a look and see if I can work with the hair that you are wearing, and chat about any thoughts or concerns that I have and answer any questions.
